Meanwhile, I don't think the students are speaking THE English. I know some graduates from Ivy League, and the only English they are able to speak or write is still Chinglish, the fact of which made my lovely wife very unhappy.:-O (I spent a whole night to explain how impossible it was for me to have an affair with an 5,000 year-old guy.)
Now, it is my turn to complain. I remembered that an angry clown once shouted to the TV camera, '...too simple, too naive...' Was he speaking English? better not.
