This article reminds me of the novel 'The Heart of Darkness' by Joseph Conrad.
The history of China after Emperor Chin is in my opinion an absolute nightmare. But at school, it is taught as unique phenomenons of the great Chinese culture. - No policial revolutions will be of ANY use if we cannot reflect upon our history, culture as well as mentality with open-heartedness and honesty.
